About me
David Johnson joined Austin Water in 2021 as the utility's chief information officer. Upon his arrival, David transformed the existing IT program area to deliver improved reliability and support services for the planned growth of the utility and the City of Austin. Additionally, he initiated Austin Water's Innovation Hub. Before joining Austin Water, David held the position of chief information officer in the public and private sectors.
